The subject of this paper is to show that whether the experimental measurement of the attenuation coefficient and the reflection coefficient of sound wave in bubbly screen can be in agreement with the theoretical prediction. In theoretical part,we use the conservation of mass and conservation of momentum to derive the wave equation in bubbly liquid, and then we can find the value of the reflection sound pressure and the attenuation sound pressure by solving the problem of boundary condition of continuity of the pressure and pressure gradient. Finally,we can acquire the attenuation coefficient and the reflection coefficient. In experimental part, the experiment is processed in semianechoic tank, first we produce an incident plane wave by projector, and then use the hydrophone to receive the value of the reflection sound pressure and the attenuation sound pressure. The result shows that while the fraction of bubble volume is about 0.01,the incident sound wave can be attenuated about 10dB/cm,and the reflection coefficient of sound wave is between 0 and —10dB. Generally, the result of the attenuation of sound wave is in agreement with the theoretical prediction, however, the reflection one is not quite well. Anyway, the bubbly screen is an excellent isolation device in water.
