碩士 / 東海大學 / 建築學系 / 88 / This thesis design works on Campus Planning and Design issue, in order to serve one self’s experience and tendency, and also solve the practical need in one’s own campus environment. There are three parts in this thesis design. Part I begin with discussing relative cases and theory. With historic point of view, it focus on the representative patterns and paragons in this category and produce a brief phasing theory to conclude the general spatial problem, planning issue and design tendency of many campus. Then it proceeds to analysis Tunghai Univ.’s campus planning and construction results in its new birth era. In this way, we can recognize its meaning and status as a local campus paragons.
To prepare the design stages succeed to, Part II is a campus study process. But more than the collection of basic conditions, it try to appear a series of spatial construction study in campus history. Including spatial structure theory application and the thinking of spatial gradation, all these diagrams establish the campus conditions of Tunghai Univ. And with their help, a proposal to arrangement the structure and spatial systems of this region is produced in similar way. Finally, the whole part of these analysis and suggestion is actually the campus vision of this thesis design. In the other hand, it is also the planning goals of Campus Design for the Li-shin Road Region in Tunghai Univ.
In Part III of this thesis design, it work on completing a regional campus design with the analysis established. And the final product is a phasing plan in this area. Besides consideration the regional development in short, middle and long term, it will take part in the process of practical need of the Visual Center renewal project. So, there will appear a hybrid presentation with products in both planning and design. And this result is a practice of a conclusion in the cases and theory study part: a campus planning and design should apply different presentation material in different condition.
