Pseudolite Performance Analysis and Application for Navigation in Terminal Approach / 虛擬衛星性能分析及在近場飛航導引之應用

碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 航空太空工程學系 / 89 / CNS/ATM is proposed to solve future aviation problems based on air traffic management concept. To deal with air traffic control, communication congestion, and airway separation problems, satellite technology is being adopted and applied to implement CNS/ATM infrastructures. Among all the technologies, satellite communication (SATCOM) and global positioning system (GPS) are most concerned to hardware structures at all.
This thesis focuses on the performance analysis and application assessment on the applications of positioning satellite in local area augmentation system (LAAS) using airport pseudolite. The APL hardware structure, signal processing, far/near problem are discussed. Based on the present achievements, APL in planning into Taipei Terminal Control area for CKS Airport and Sung-Shan Airport is discussed using single or multiple APLs. A suggestion on APL in LAAS is proposed and presented.
