碩士 / 國立臺灣師範大學 / 工業科技教育研究所 / 89 / To cope with the rapid changes of competition environment in the world, international enterprises must revise their operations to manage their oversea subsidiaries efficiently. Because the employees are the most important part of the organization, the enterprises should focus on forming suitable control mechanisms between the parent-corporations and oversea subsidiaries of international human resource management.
This study was aimed at investigating the contents and operations of the management & control mechanisms from the parent-corporations. The multi-case interviews were employed to identify the formation and operations of controlling systems.
The research findings were as follows:
1.The control mechanisms of overseas subsidiaries included input, behavior and output controls.
2.Input control mechanisms consisted of HRM functions such as staffing, training and development, compensation and benefit.
3.Behavior control mechanisms made up by functions of HR planning and labor relations.
4.Output control mechanisms formed mainly by the implementation of performance evaluation.
5.There were 8 factors that influenced the management & control mechanisms.
