生命教育融入國小自然科課程與教學之研究:以「種植」和「養殖」主題為例

They try to infuse content of life education into science course and come up with an integrated curriculum. Two chapters, tomato planting and silkworm, were selected from the science textbook and were combined with the idea of life education respectively. The science teacher took charge in proceeding the program in the classroom, and the researcher collected and analyzed all the practical data obtained by recording, observation, and interviewing students in the classroom to examine the designed integrated curriculums.
As the result, the study proposes eight steps to design a successful infused curriculum of science and life education as follows: selecting appropriate theme in life education, deciding subjects and chapters, developing teaching goals of the life education curriculum, designing material that can be infused into the original material, developing alternative teaching process, creating new processing skills, increasing educational resources, and gathering the outcome for renewing the topics of the life education activities.
In addition, it suggests that we have to adopt multi-aspect instructional strategies to develop students’ abilities of observation, experiencing and introspecting. We should focus on not only students’ cognitive ability but also the progress of emotion and skill development. Therefore, portfolio assessment plays the major role when we evaluate students’ performance in this study. By going through those various instructional activities, students were led to establish their own vision, enhance their self-esteem, and respect their own meaning of life.
Finally, this study tries to melt the life education and the science curriculums together. This effort obtains some magnificent findings and sheds the light to the upcoming researches that will focus on instructional aspect and curriculums of life education at the elementary level.
