碩士 / 輔仁大學 / 資訊管理學系 / 90 / In this technology keenly innovative and quickly changing business world, businesses are facing more and more challenge and the products life cycle become more and more short. The organizations have to integrate all of activities in the supply chain to increase global competitive power including sourcing, production, sale and delivery. They have to pay very much attention to the value chain system of their suppliers and using computer-based model to support their corporation logistic management. The logistic management controls production and value-added chain in the entire corporation. The computerizing logistic management provides real time information whereas to reduce the logistic management cost and increases its efficiency as well.
The concept of advanced planning and scheduling (APS) includes the features of synchronized, real time and global view. By using the huge memory and computing power of computer and considering the demands of customers and the constraints of the corporation, APS provides us real time evaluation. It also can handle overall situation of production and scheduling in supply chain management. Hence, it becomes more and more important to academic research and business application.
This thesis introduces and illustrates the theory of APS.It also applys the conception of APS to build a decision model in the production logistic management. The model use the constraint liner programming to obtain the production planning optimal decision to solve the problem of “make to order (MTO)” and “assembly to order (ATO)” for an electronic assembly factory.
In addition, we adopt the data acquired form a domestic network hardware manufacturer to test our model by running some simulation. To test and verify the value of our decision model, different scenarios are conducted. It is proved that the model built in this research is not only to combine the theory but also able to fit business’s practical application.
