碩士 / 國立中興大學 / 土木工程學系 / 90 / The study is to establish a numerical model for simulating the flow field of tide and sour and deposition in Estuary. The model is based on the two-dimensional depth-averaged dynamic equations, sediment transport continuity equation, bed load formula, and convection-diffusion equation of suspended sediment. The multi-grid method is applied to improve the efficiency of the model. The characters of the flow field and bed evolution are simulated in Estuary of Cho-Shui Chi when Herb typhoon, and the simulated bed evolution is compared with measured bed evolution.
The simulated result of the range of Estuary shows the influencing range of Estuary’s tide about ten kilometers. The simulated result of bed evolution shows bed evolution scouring deep progressively when flood passes, and it scours severely about one hour after flood peak, and it deposits progressively after the sixteenth hour. The initial bed evolution is compared with simulated bed evolution, and it shows that near Estuary’s section deposits in the simulated bed evolution. Middle section scours in deep channel in the simulated bed evolution. Upstream section deposits in the simulated bed evolution.
