碩士 / 國立中興大學 / 生命科學系 / 91 / In this study there are three sampling field located on each estuary of Ta-Chia-Shi, Ta-Du-Shi, and Chuo-shue-Shi. The epipelic and episamic diatoms were collected seasonally from autumn 2001 to winter 2003. A total of 159 diatom species were observed, and 140 species were indentified. Pennate diatoms were generally the most prevalent of them. The diatom communities of each sampling field could be clustered to three groups by using the software Primer 5.0. The dominant diatom species of Kaumei wetland (estuary of Ta-Chia-Shi) were Navicula forcipata, Navicula sp. 1, Achnanthese haukiana, Navicula salinicola, Amphora subacutiuscula, Navicula cryptocephala var. veneta, Navicula sp. 2, Nitzschia libetruhii var. siameis, Navicula augusta, Navicula biseriata, Nitzschia palea, Navicula sp. 2, Navicula jentzii, Coscindiscus furcatus, and Stauroneis marina. The dominant diatom species of Tadu estuary were Navicula sp. 1, Amphora subacutiuscula¸ Navicula augusta, Nitzschia palea, Nitzschia granulata, Navicula sp. 2, Amphirora spp., Nitzschia constricta, Nitzschia sp. 2 , Nitzschia sp. 1, Nitzschia navicularis, Nitzschia libetruhii var. siameis, Achnanthes lemmermannii, Coscindiscus furcatus, Surirella sp. 1, Cyclotella stylorum, Navicula salinicola, Nitzschia hustedtiana, and Nitzschia dissipata. The dominant diatom species of Hanbo wetland (estuary of Chuo-Shue-Shi) were Navicula sp. 5, Amphora subacutiuscula, Navicula sp. 1, Navicula augusta, Hantzschia marina, Achnanthes hauckiana, Navicula sp. 4, Cocconeis sp., Amphora staurohyalina, Amphora cingula, Nitzschia sp. 2, Coscindiscus furcatus, Tropidoneis semistriata, Navicula forcipata. Only four diatom species were common in the three sampling site, Navicula sp. 1, Amphora subacutiuscula, Navicula angusta, Coscindiscus furcatus.
