Inundated Phenomena in Costal Lowlands Under the Action of Rainstorm and Typhoon Surge / 沿海低地之豪雨暴潮淹水現象之研究

碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 水利及海洋工程學系碩博士班 / 91 / The costal lowlands in Taiwan are easily to suffer inundation under the action of rainstorms and typhoon surges. Besides, over exploitation for groundwater induces the land subsidence, due to the insufficient surface water resource. This research uses the inundation model to simulate the inundated phenomena for the lowlands, and considers the channel to be broadened, dredged and uses the gate to prevent the flood calamity in coastal area.
This research compares the diffusive wave equation with the dynamic wave equation, and both the simulated results are similarity, and observed that the channel to be broadened or dredged could increase the drainage capacity and lower the stage of the channel, but when the Froude number is rather small, the effect to lower the stage of the channel is invalid. But it will increase the discharge of the ocean enter into the channel.
This research simulated the inundation phenomenon of the lowlands in Kaoshiung area during the period of tai-mei typhoon, and observed that the channel to be dredged could reduce the inundation depth at which the elevation is higher than the sea level, but the effect is invalid at which the elevation is lower then the sea level.
