The Evaluation of Work Values, Job Satisfaction and Job Performance between Taiwan and PRC: A Case of the Liner Shipping Industry / 兩岸員工工作價值觀、工作滿意與工作績效關係之研究--以定期貨櫃運送業為例

碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 交通管理學系碩博士班 / 91 / This study seeks to examine the perceived differences of employees’ work values in the liner shipping industry between Taiwan and PRC. A structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to investigate the impact of work values and job satisfaction on job performance. Results indicate that perceived differences of employees’ work values between Taiwan and PRC in respect of internal rewards, collective interests, peaceful and cordial, amiable, tolerant and respect tradition. In addition, the paper’s findings suggest that employees’ work values influence job satisfaction, and job satisfaction positively influences job performance. However, the impact of employees’ work values on job performance was not supported in this study.
