碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 造船及船舶機械工程學系碩博士班 / 91 / Following with the popularization of the Internet and growing up of wireless hardware technology, mobility is the future trend in all business. When the worker find something wrong about the design drawing in the traditional shipyard''s working environment, they can''t send messages to design department in time. All they can do is take notes. Until they leave the work site, they just can write report to R&D worker. The way they report back is not efficient.
This research will use Embedded Visual C++ technology to establish a mobile-PDA Ship Material System (m-PSMIS) in PDA for the mid-small shipyards. This System can show ship''s Bill of Material on time, and then combine with shipyard''s inner material system. Besides, this research will build up a Shipyard Knowledge Portal to integrate shipyard''s other system.
Under the Shipyard Knowledge Portal establishing, shipyard''s manager not only knows all about ship’s information, but also takes control of ship''s cost and production project. This Portal can provide customers for browsing through their own ship''s information. Then, we use PDA to maintain data''s consistency and timely. At last, we hope to help shipyards increasing their competition and working efficiency.
