碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 都市計劃學系碩博士班 / 91 / Our study focuses on roadside urban design issues and strategies when the light rail transit system is introduced into in the future. First, we analyze the characteristics of the light rail transit system and the issues of urban development and urban design. Then we confer to its compatibility with Taiwan’s urban environment characteristics. Later, we propose the issues and strategies that should be considered when the light rail transit system is introduced into Taiwan. Last, we hope our study can be of reference to future plannings of light rail transit system in Taiwan.
