The Study of spray planting method on the slope of the South Cross-Island Highway at the middle-high altitude / 南部橫貫公路中高海拔道路邊坡噴植植生工法之研究

碩士 / 國立屏東科技大學 / 水土保持系 / 91 / The South Cross-Island Highway has promoted the developments of transportation, tourism, construction and land resources. Many maintains, different altitudes and the interaction of trade wind and seasonal wind has caused abundant precipitation on the high way. Because of high variation of the topography, weak geology, vegetation growing on the steep slope, rocks and vegetation falls from the slope and results in bare slope. This study aims to discuss the efficiency of the six spray planting methods on the slope of the South Cross-Island Highway. The results have been summarized as follows:
1. The thin Polsoil spray planting method (TCP) will have the better effects of the initial and medium plant growth and succession by adding the 1cm thickness of the chip compost .
2. In the medium and high altitude of the plot of TCP method has the more vegetation cover rate in the initial and medium stages. But the plots of HC method, HCP1 method, and HCP2 method have more vegetation cover rate in later stage.
3. Ten plant species are immigrated in the plot, which are Eupatorium formosanum Hayata, Artemisia kawakamii Hayata, Polygonum cuspidatum Sieb. & Zucc., Senecio taitungensis S. S. Ying, Cirsium arisanense Kitamura, Astilbe macroflora Hayata, Rubus taiwanicola Koidz. & Ohwi, Eriocapitella vitifolia Nakai, Parnassia palustris L., and Miscanthus transmorrisonensis Hayata. Rubus taiwanicola Koidz. & Ohwi is most in number, but Parnassia palustris L. is lowest.
4. The heavy planting mixture or wire netting may hinder the growth of short-stem plants, such as Rubus taiwanicola Koidz. & Ohwi. That is not complying with the ecological concept.
