This thesis applies the critical chain project management concept to the global information management system, and uses the developed system to control and reassign the critical resources in forecasting, planning, development, production planning, production, and logistic processes. The results are faster delivery time, less inventory, more cost saving, and better customer satisfactions.
The design of global information logistic system uses single data model as the software infrastructure, and provides the integration tools to achieve the functions of information management and authorization control, heterogeneous database integration, and information dissemination. The results of global information integration establish the highest benefits, in terms of speed, quality and cost, for the global information logistic system.
