資料倉儲技術應用於艦艇維修決策支援之研究

碩士 / 國防大學中正理工學院 / 兵器系統工程研究所 / 92 / R.O.C NAVY uses Ship Yard Management System (SYMS) as an On-Line Transaction Processing (OLTP) system to control and operate naval vessel maintenance tasks. R.O.C NAVY doesn’t have Decision Support System (DSS) cooperate to SYMS that provide decision support for staffs and directors of naval maintenance facility.
Data Warehouse (DW) is used to support decision search, which can supply useful information that SYMS can’t provide. This research is based on SYMS and characteristics of naval vessel maintenance task to design the framework of data warehouse for naval vessel maintenance with three stages.
First step is designing the framework of relational database for naval vessel maintenance, and second step is designing the framework of data warehouse for naval vessel maintenance. At first and second steps, we process data from SYMS database to relational database and snowflake schema of data warehouse with the concept of extraction, transformation, loading (ETL). Third step is designing the framework of On-Line analytical Process (OLAP) for naval vessel maintenance which can produce multi-demensional Cube for analysis about cost of maintenance, man-hour, parts, and plan for vessel maintenance task. These three frameworks construct a complete process of vessel maintenance data warehouse.
The multi-demensional Cube that base on decision search, and processing with OLAP to provide information which staffs and directors need as fast. It is showed in this research that decision-based data warehouse can offer aggregation information that SYMS system can’t provide.
