碩士 / 國防大學中正理工學院 / 造船工程研究所 / 92 / The upgrading of anti-submarine warfare capability is an important mission for naval battleships. One of the means to reach the goal is noise prevention and cure. One effective way to isolate machine’s noise is using resilient mounts between machine and its base structure. In general, the resilient mount can reduce the noise and vibration transmission from machines to ship’s structures efficiently. This study concentrated on the performance measurement and evaluation of ship’s resilient mounts and consequently to fit in with the requirement for anti-submarine warfare silent standards.
In this study, we first selected U.S.A. Barry’s T22-AB-3 resilient mount as a sample and used dynamic signal analyzer to measure its characteristics. We next made up measurement rule for some kinds of naval ship’s resilient mounts by referring U.S Navy Resilient Mount Handbook, and found out their minimum allowable height. Finally, we measured the input and output vibration spectrum of resilient mounts of machines equipped aboard in normal operation condition. A MATLAB program was used to analysis their narrow bandwidth and octave bandwidth spectrum. By the means above, we can evaluate the performance of isolation ability of resilient mount. In addition, we used a reverse process to check the major parameters of resilient mount selection. The purpose of this research is to build the capability of resilient mounts performance evaluation and analysis and provide guides to develop and use resilient mounts properly.
