碩士 / 銘傳大學 / 國際企業學系碩士班 / 92 / This study attempts to use external network and interaction between parent and subsidiary perspectives to analyze through MNC foreign subsidiary for my survey data if all these factors are key in affecting subsidiary performance.
This study explores five critical influencing factors of MNC subsidiary performance. By applying regression model to analyze survey data empirically, the study reveals the following significant relationships.
1. Business embeddedness and Technical embeddedness have a strong positive impact on subsidiary performance.
2. The equity of subsidiary held by parent and product relation have a strong positive impact on subsidiary performance.
3. Intangible asset has no impact on subsidiary performance.
The foreign subsidiary how to survive and creating new competition advantage is needed by MNC leading mindset. The study closes by suggesting that subsidiary can accessing to resource through not only local partner but also parents. By reinforcing these advantages, subsidiary could operate better in foreign market and achieve their objective.
