Investigation on the Pioneer Vegetation Characteristics in the Landslide Areas of the Low Altitude in Chia-Yi County / 嘉義縣低海拔地區崩塌地先驅植群特性之調查研究

碩士 / 國立嘉義大學 / 林業暨自然資源研究所碩士班 / 92 / This study is aimed at investigation on the vegetation succession of the landslide areas at the low altitude caused by earthquake and typhoon. Seven study plots were established in Gong-Tian village, Fan-lu town and Chong-lu village, Chong-pu town in Chia-yi county. Total of 145 species, 78 genera and 52 families were respectively recorded in these plots.
Dominated species were determined by the analysis of the Important Value Index(IVI) method. The study showed that Miscanthus floridulus is the most dominated one among pioneer plants. three main vegetation types were recognized by the Matrix Cluster Analysis as following:
I..Miscanthus floridulus─Desmodium sequax─Eupatorium formosanum type.
II. Acacia confusa─Paspalum distichum type.
III. Crassocephalum crepidoides─Ageratum conyzoides type.
And after about 18 months, the average recoverage of plant coverage on landslide area ranged form 50.8﹪to 60.1﹪,among which mostly contributed by natural invasion of the pioneer plants.
By this study this information proved not only the reference of dealing landslide area but also vegetation succession.
