The implementation of financial holding company laws, at the end of 2001, has deeply influenced the managerial manners of local commercial banks. This research is trying to discuss what kinds of managerial strategies The International Commercial Bank of China should adopt to keep up its past excellent operation efficiency and to become the core subsidiary of Mega Financial Holding Company.
It is found that The International Commercial Bank of China has the following strategies:
1. Expanding current leading advantage in corporate banking.
2. Increase the marketing planning ability and product creativity of consumer banking.
3. Implant “Customer Relationship Management Information System” to upgrade banking service quality.
4. Perform cross-marketing and professional participation policy to become the center of Mega Financial Holding Company.
5. Fulfill organization-rebuilding strategy to make up the shortage of human resource.
6. Intensify risk management to increase the shareholder value.
