Drought Induction of Oxidative Stress in Pluchea indica (L.) Less. leaves / 缺水誘導鯽魚膽葉片氧化逆境

碩士 / 國立高雄師範大學 / 生物科學研究所 / 92 / The main purpose of this study is to understand the role of drought on the induction of oxidative stress and also to address the importance of antioxidative enzyme activity and water-soluble antioxidants (ascorbate (AsA)) in the tolerance of oxidative stress in the detached Pluchea Indica (L.) Less. leaves. The roles of ABA and MeJA pretreatment on the prevention of oxidative stress by the removal of active oxygen species. Drought (PEG treatment) induced oxidative stress in Pluchea Indica; both the increase in CAT, POX, APX and GR activities and the maintenance of AsA turnover contents are essential to oxidative tolerance. ABA enhanced the tolerance of Pluchea Indica to oxidative stress via the increment of CAT, APX and GR activities and the maintenance of normal AsA conversion, while MeJA can not induce tolerance. The results of the administration of NADPH oxidase inhibitor (diphenylene indonium (DPI)) indicate that the NADPH oxidase-mediated production of O2. — and then to H2O2 plays a role in the activation of CAT, APX and GR in the detached Pluchea Indica (L.) Less. leaves.
