碩士 / 國立屏東科技大學 / 水產養殖系 / 92 / With a good environment contributes to the Peng-hu waters, the inner bay waters surrounded by Makung, Baisha and Hsiyu, has been developed the sea cage culture and has recently become the most important production area in Taiwanese sea cage industry. Based on the case study to Peng-hu sea cage industry, this search applied the Five Powers and Value Chain analysis by Michael E. Porter, and the SWOT analysis to draft a competitiveness strategy under pursuing the goals of profits and sustained managements.
In the result, a management strategy is concluded as follows: (1) SO strategy: to reduce the cost, focusing on how to take the advantages of farming technique and region characteristics, and extend moderately the production scale. (2) WO strategy: to improve the internal weakness and make the use of the exterior chances, mainly on enhancing the accounting and personnel system, and establishing the impressive brand for Peng-hu fishery products. (3) ST strategy: to develop the internal strong points and keep away from the exterior threat, focusing on the consociation purchase among co-operators, sales promotion and quality control system. (4) WT strategy: to improve the internal shortages and keep away from the exterior threat, mainly on developing live fish transportation technique and enhancing the production and sales system.
