Chemical Constituents and Cytotoxicities of the Formosan Soft Corals Sarcophyton crassocaule, Tubipora musica Linneaus and Clavularia inflata / GN55肥厚肉質軟珊瑚、GN57笙珊瑚與GN63膨大羽珊瑚化學成分及癌細胞毒殺活性之研究

碩士 / 國立中山大學 / 海洋資源學系研究所 / 92 / Chromotographic separations of Formosan soft coral Sarcophyton crassocaule (GN-55) led to the isolations of four diterpenes, sarcophine (1), sarcophytoxide (2), (7R*, 8S*)-dihydroxysarcophytonin A (3), sarcophtonin A (4), one steroid, 17,20-epoxy-23,24- dimethyl-cholest-5- ene-3,22-diol (5), and an eudesmane sesquiterpene, selin-11- en-4-ol (6).
Two eudesmane epimers, 7 and 8 (new compound), three eudesmane sesquiterpenes, 9{11, and a sphingolipid, 12 were isolated from Tubipora musica Linneaus (GN-57).
Chromotography of Clavularia inflata (GN-63) has led to the isolation of a new xenia diterpene, 13, (+)-ent-3-hydroxyspathulenol ,15 , the new marine enantiomer to its territorial one, stolondiol monoacetate,14 , and 1, 6-dihydroxy-eudes-4,15-ene, 16, were isolated. The absolute structures of 13 and 15 were determined by MTPA esterifications. Cytotoxicities of these isolates against selected cancer cell lines were measured.
