Chemical Constituents and Cytotoxicity of Formosan Soft Corals Lemnalia laevis (GN62) and Sarcophyton tenuispiculatum (GN53) / GN63穗花軟珊瑚與GN53肉質軟珊瑚之化學成分及癌細胞毒殺活性之研究

碩士 / 國立中山大學 / 海洋資源學系研究所 / 92 / Chromatographic separation of methylene chloride extracts of Formosan soft coral Lemnalia laevis, Thomson and Dean (collected at Green Island off Taiwan) led to the isolation of eight sesquterpenoids and three norsesquterpenoids compounds, 4(S*)-acetoxy,10(S*)-hydro xy,5-oxo,1(S*),12(S*)neolemna-2(Z),8-diene (1)、4(S*)-acetoxy,10,5-oxo, 1(S*),12(S*)neolemna-1(Z),8-dieme (2)、(6�圁),1(10)-epoxy-2-hydroxy -12-nornadosin-7,11-dione (3)、(6�浶),1(10)-epoxy-2-hydroxy-12- nornadosin-7,11-dione (4)、(2S*,7S*)-7-formyloxy-2-hydroxy-12-nornar dosin-1(10)-en-11-one (5)、11,12-dihydroxyeremophilia-6,10-diene (6)、2,7-nardosin oxanedione (7)、(2S*)-2-hydroxylemnal-1(10)-en-12-one (8)、(2R*)-2-hydroxylemnal-1(10)-en-12-one (9)、(7�圁),(2R*)-2- hydroxylemnal-1(10)-en-12-one (10)、2-oxolemnacarnol (11). Compounds 2、3、5、8 were new compounds.
The methylene chloride extracts of Formosan soft coral Sarcophyton teunispiculatum, (Thomson and Dean) collected at Green Island off Taiwan, led to the isolation of two cembranoid diterpenes, (+)-sarcophytoxide (12)、(-)-sarcophytonin A (13) and one sesquterpenoid,b-elemane (14).
In the cytotoxicity testing, compound 7 was found to exhibit cytotoxicity toward P-388 tumor cells.
