碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 河海工程學系 / 92 / In view of ecological engineering method, the submerged semicircular hollow breakwater is able to keep the seawater circulative against deterioration. Its space is a good shelter for fishes as well. The outer construction of the structure can provide nice environment for the seaweed and kelp to propagate with the proper water depth and the adequate water width. Therefore, this thesis is based on the linear water wave theory to analyze the influence on the multiple ecological submerged breakwaters with square cross section for the scattering of normal incident water waves by using the program based on the composite boundary element method. Computational solutions are presented to illustrate the effects of various rows, distance of two neighboring submerged breakwaters, and porous coefficients on the reflection, transmission and energy-loss coefficients. According to the numerical results, it shows that as both of the rows of submerged breakwaters and distance of two neighboring submerged breakwaters increases, the peak values of reflection and energy-loss coefficients will become bigger. As the porous coefficients increase, the peak values of reflection coefficients become smaller and energy-loss coefficients become bigger.
