碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 河海工程學系 / 92 / This paper discusses the method of coastal protection in Jinsha bay of Matzu by means of test. Experiments are proceeded in cross wave tank. The experimental wave period is scaled to1.29sec according to the typhoon’s wave period 9.05sec, the wave height is 4cm, 6cm and 8cm. Model scale is 1/49 in our experiment.
According to the experiments, we find the existence of submerged breakwater in this paper could not reduce the overtopping rate because of slight-view and hydrophilic space. Further, the set up of mild-slope sea wall can reduce overtopping rate effectively. When the slope of mild-slope sea wall is smaller, the capacity of reduce will be better. For the result of all case, we find the overtopping rate of the slope 1:5.5 is the least. Furthermore, if the mild-slope sea wall is permeability, the dissipation capacity of wave energy is better.
