碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 航運管理學系 / 92 / The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship among job satisfaction, personal characteristics and turnover intention of the Maritime education teachers in Taiwan.
The research would employ questionnaire to examine 6 Maritime education schools’ teachers throughout Taiwan. The major statistical techniques adopted are t-test, one-way ANOVA, two-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation and regression analysis.
Based on the statistical findings, the conclusions are as follow:
(1)Job satisfaction, personal characteristics and turnover intention in various demographic variables are partially significiant difference.
(2)Six job satisfaction dimensions are partially significiant difference caused by inner/outer control personal characteristics of teachers.
(3)The teachers’ six job satisfaction dimensions and their turnover intention are partially negatively correlated.
(4)There is partially positive correlation between the inner/outer control personal characteristics of teachers and turnover intention.
(5) Six job satisfaction dimensions and turnover intention are not significant difference caused by inner/outer control personal characteristics of teachers.
