碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 應用經濟研究所 / 92 / Eel aquaculture plays an important role in the fishery. However, how to move on for eel aquaculture of Taiwan is an issue because of fierce contention. Therefore, this study focuses on the relationship among cost, revenue, and profit of eel bred, trying to analyze the production factors based on Cobb-Douglas cost function, willing to investigate an function that fitted the market according to supply-demand model and 2SLS method, and finally, finding a way to raise the market share of Taiwanese eel, increasing the profit of eel bred. Empirical study shows that there should be some agreement between Taiwan and China to control eel exported, hence avoiding price decline resulted from supply surplus. Besides, the No.1 eel consuming country, Japan, is about to saturate. Consequently, proprietors should enlarge the market, reduce the cost, or eel aquaculture of Taiwan will break down gradually.
