The Effects of Dietary Different Steroid Hormone on Nonspecific Immune System and Haemolymph Parameter of White Shrimp(Litopenaeus vannamei) / 不同固醇類荷爾蒙對白蝦非特異性免疫系統的影響

碩士 / 國立臺灣大學 / 動物學研究所 / 92 / In this experiment 17β-estradiol, progesterone and testosterone at concentration of 2, 8 and 32 ppm in feed were investigated on the effects of variation of activities of glutamate oxidacetate transaminase (GOT), glutamate pyruvate transaminase (GPT), cholesterol concentration, Triglycerides concentration, phenoloxidase (PO), superoxide dismutase (SOD) and the concentrations of the superoxide anion in the haemocyte of white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei).
The result shower that GOT and GPT activities in L. vannamei of experimental shrimp fed with different steroid hormone were higher than those of the control shrimps. Its mean hepatopancreas got damage. The result also showed that the concentration of cholesterol and Triglycerides in the experiment shrimps were higher than control during the course of the experiment. Although phenoloxidase activity is higher than control at early period of experiment. Superoxide dismutase activity was significant higher than control, but the superoxide anion production of haemocyte was no significant difference. It was concluded that L. vannamei showed a quickly reaction in physiology at 12 hours.
