The Application of 3D laser scanner on the analysis of the wooden well engineered by I. S Wang and I. B Cheng / 3D雷射掃描應用於大木匠師王益順與陳應彬木構造藻井空間分析

碩士 / 國立臺灣科技大學 / 建築系 / 92 / This study was made to the plafonds engineered by I. S. Wang and I. B Cheng. The difference and relationship between their creations were compared. Case studies were made to Taipei Longshan temple, Confucius temple, and Chinan temple. A Cyrax 3D long-range laser scanner was used, and a Cyclone software was applied to register, slice, and overlap scanned point clouds. Software like AutoCAD and 3D Studio MAX were used to trace and buildup outlines and guidelines of the plafonds. The relationship between the plafonds and building structures were analyzed by paired comparison made to the dimensions, proportions, and outlines. The difference and similarity were illustrated by figures and values.
This study found that Wang’s plafonds at different periods shared the same height. The widths of plafond and bay were strongly related. The manner of proportion, outline, and composition continued, except the circle-shaped plafond which was unique and constructed in a special manner. The plafond designed by Cheng changed from octagon on the bottom to a circle on the top. The octagon part was different from the Wang’s design by proportion and shape. The circle part did share similarity that concluded the interaction and influence occurred between them.
