碩士 / 東海大學 / 工業工程與經營資訊學系 / 92 / Most corporations constantly grown and expand their markets to overseas. It becomes unavoidable and necessary to set up several manufacturing factories in the oversea. Therefore, global logistics management (GLM) evolves to exist, and many corporation use that to increase it’s competitive capacity.
Many countries began to develop global logistics management in recently years, and the ROC government also start pushing correlative plans of the global logistics management, such as “The Plan for Developing Taiwan as an Asia- Pacific Regional Operations Center” in 1995, “Global Logistics Management Plan” in 2000, and “Challenge 2008 National Development Plan — Business Headquarters” in 2002. The government drives positively to help corporation develop global logistics management model. And use GLM model to increase competitive capacity of corporation.
Therefore, the objective of this research may be summarized as follow: (1) develop a reference model for distribution logistics management of business headquarter development method, (2) provide a reference model (including primary processes and functions). The reference model contains nine major processes, and it divides each process between “primary processes” and “sub-processes” information flow diagrams which are composed of those activities of data-transferring and data-processing. By those information flow diagrams, it is easy to acquire more relative information and working statements about the headquarter. The reference model provides a useful guidance to help a corporation to develop a suitable business headquarter.
