Abstract
Integrated procurement, production, distribution and customer service construct the notion of Supply Chain Management (SCM). The main purpose of SCM is to create mutual benefits among suppliers and customers. For a long time, Military national defense industries have been covered by a secret veil. However, private industries can not be separated from military’s industries, due to the outstanding SCM systems coming from military logistical management concept. In order to obtain maximum national defense effectiveness, it is necessary to consolidate effectively SCM and Integrated logistic Support (ILS) with national defense industries.
The research target is on the staff of an Arsenal of Armament Bureau in national defense industries, and the scope of the study is on the cognition degree for SCM and ILS. Group Type is used to induce six faces to explore the cognition degree for system integrated planning on strategy, management and performance. The survey has been conducted with 200 survey forms delivered, among which 173, 86.5% valid forms returned.
The research shows that different individual varieties cause apparent difference on the cognition degree of SCM and ILS. But the six faces are conspsicuously related with one another. After integrating SCM and ILS, the cognition degree of improving operation process in each department, increasing data correctness and reliability, reducing total carry out cost, making company resources more flexible, trimming and streamlining an organization structure and manpower, improving business process to promote benefit, abridging operation time and enhancing production process stability and production efficiency, is positive and higher from expectant effect.
