A Study on the development of 『Coast Environment Information Management System』for An-Ping Habor / 安平港『海岸環境資訊管理系統』建置之研究

碩士 / 中華大學 / 營建管理研究所 / 93 / The design content of coast engineering is no longer limited on handling the external force such as tide level and wave force. Under the circumstances of emphasizing on ecological engineering, the biological environment is an important consideration factor on the planning, design and construction of coarse project. The development and implementation of the ecological project must be dependent on the long-term and integrated planning. The construction of the project must have deep recognition to the ecosystem and environment so the ecological calamity can be prevented.

In this research we try to investigate on the coast ecosystem and environment and use Object Oriented, Delphi and ER-Studio environment to the development “Information System for Coast Environment”. This system is to construct the coastal database of ecological environment. The system is verified by feeding the related data of An-Ping Port in Tainan. Inspectors can observe and record related information such as water quality, species sampling, and the project construction. The system also provides the filter function so user can query interesting data based on different categories for all fields. The system integrates GIS, MIS and multi-media environment to display all related information such as monitoring station, constructing condition of coast engineering and its surrounding environment. This can provide us a platform to execute long-term ecosystem monitor so designer can effectively watch atmosphere and make appropriate decision on the planning period.
