碩士 / 大葉大學 / 事業經營研究所碩士在職專班 / 93 / Major transportation construction project is one of the means to promote regional development by government, and Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR) is one of the important transportation constructions of government.
High Speed Rail is the newest transportation tool. If without the suitable marketing method, competitive strategies and complete transportation network, it just offers the service of high quality in vain and maybe unable to attract customers only with adequate supply to create demand and not to consider the true need of the passengers, outside transportation environment and transport communication.
This study based on overall consideration of the character of development in the Changhua area, tries to find out the goals and transportation network relation of Taiwan High Speed Rail as references in operation and decision for relevant authorities.
First, uses SWOT method associating with secondary data collection to analyze the attributes of Taiwan High Speed Rail and to find out its internal strength, weakness, and external opportunity, threat.
Second, matching strategic factors with SWOT matrix can obtain SO strategies, ST strategies, WO strategies, and WT strategies.
Finally, employ SWOT method and have a symposium and apply expert interview, we can get the concrete operation goals and the competitive strategies of Taiwan High Speed Rail.
