碩士 / 大葉大學 / 事業經營研究所碩士在職專班 / 93 / This study is an investigation of the environments in which Taiwan enterprises invest in kindergartens of Mainland China, with a view to suggesting some feasible strategy. For our case study, we have selected Shanghai Shiu chia hui Kindergarten and Ming re hsing Kindergarten as our subjects and analyze literature, searching data about these kindergartens. After applying the SWOT Analysis on our data, we have also done a comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of our internal resources with the external environments and threats, thus forming operational strategy and proposing some feasible operational policy.
Our investigation has led to conclusions as follows:
1. Investment in kindergartens must take into consideration the advantages and disadvantages, opportunities, and threats, both internal and external.
2. Public kindergartens in today’s China have confronted many difficulties, while half-private and private kindergartens are doing very well.
3. There are opportunities investing in private kindergartens because of governmental encouragement, but there are risks owing to the changeable nature of various regulations.
4. Shiu chia hui Kindergarten is situated in an area where parents have higher income, but is confronted with competition from public kindergartens.
5. Ming re hsing Kindergarten has the high mobility rate of kids is its threat.
6. In terms of operation, Shiu chia hui Kindergarten can concentrate more on its cost.
7. Ming re hsing Kindergarten can have classes differentiated by cost.
Finally, on the basis of this study, we want to offer our suggestions to kindergartens’ managers, the authorities concerned, and related scholars.
