A Study of the Ferromagnetic Transient Characteristic for Railway Transportation System / 軌道運輸系統鐵磁暫態特性的研究

The transportation system is facing a large amount of transportation and the heavy traffic loading. Taiwan Railway Administration (TRA) must not only improve the operating efficiency, but also purchase the new-type train to serve the increasing traffic at the same time. As to increase of capacity of the systems and equipments and power supply electric equipment, the problem that the contents of harmonic current causes the sine wave to be with waveform distortion is serious.
Based on the properties of harmonic waves of the power supply system of TRA, use the electromagnetic transient program (EMTP) software in this paper to imitate the properties of harmonic waves for the transportation system. And we utilize the Transient Analysis of Control System (TACS) module to construct the protective model that is used to simulate the characteristics of over-current relays and over-voltage relays. We hope the simulations could be the basis when the engineers ascertain the faults and set up protective relays. Meanwhile, use the EMTP software can be applied to build a module of Jiles-Atherton (J-A) Model. The Module of core magnetic circuit not only can analyze the inner property of ferromagnetic core in conventionality but also combine outer circuit to simulate completely, when fault takes place, to discuss the influence of the characteristics for inner property of core magnetic circuit.
