A S-DBR and MRP Combining Model for the Diving Equipment Manufacturer / 潛水設備製造廠之S-DBR與MRP整合模式

碩士 / 華梵大學 / 工業管理學系碩士班 / 93 / Under keen market competition, customers’ satisfaction becomes the priority of the enterprises. In traditional diving equipment industry, customers’ main concern is about the on time delivery of their orders. Nevertheless, the case company does not have an integral scheduling system that results in loss of major customers.
The diving equipments and accessories are mainly for exportation, and those equipments and accessories are consolidated monthly from different vendor for cost saving. By consolidated shipment, the case company was suffering from the issues generated on the scheduling of the company production line. And the issues are the same model type for S-DBR to resolve.
The objective of the study was by integrating DBR scheduling, S-DBR scheduling and the concept of global buffer to develop an S-DBR scheduling system that could be applied to a diving equipment manufacture. Meanwhile, it resolved the problem of ruin resulted from the rope of S-DBR.
The study was then linking up the outputs from S-DBR into MRP system that creates valuable information on material purchasing, production scheduling and the timing to go for operation. It was expected to resolve the chaos of on time delivery and material purchasing the case company had.
By cross verify and practical statistics from the data provided by the case company, we are glad to find that the model proposed by the study has successfully improved the chaos of on time delivery and material purchasing the case company had.
