According to main diving spots scattering in Northern and Southern of Taiwan, scuba divers are surveyed by random sampling structure. There are 275 questionnaires retuned from 500 fore-sending pieces that the return-ratio is 55%. Data are analyzed by descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, such as correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, and one-way ANOVA test. The results express that even though the scuba divers in Taiwan involve to this activity enthusiastically, the necessary professional knowledge and relevant information are scarce to obtain. Therefore, it is reasonable to show a gap between environment attitude and diving experience. However, it still can be encouraged by that most divers denote they would like to introduce and promote scuba diving to their friends or relatives although the leisure activity is not common and related policy is ambiguous until now. These findings will be benefit to reference by the government, industry, and future researchers to promote or market scuba diving.
