In this study, the concrete specimens including two types of strength levels were immersed in artificial seawater to process the Dry-Wet cyclic curing tests with the period of 24 hours. The temperature and concentration of artificial seawater were regard as the test parameters. The durability of concrete under the seawater could be assessed quantitatively by the degree of concrete erosion in the salt environmental condition.
The results showed that the rate of deterioration of concrete specimens cured in the seawater with normal concentration and the temperature of 20℃ would increase at least four times higher than the others. Besides, for the specimens cured in high temperature (40~60℃), the extent of deterioration would decrease due to the higher strength at earlier age caused by the high temperature curing. When increasing the concentration of seawater to ten times, the extent of deterioration would increase. However, the tendency was not obviously.
