The Study of Appraising the Design Flow in the Nanzi Wastewater Sewer System / 楠梓污水下水道系統設計流量推估之研究

碩士 / 國立中央大學 / 環境工程研究所碩士在職專班 / 93 / Following with the improvement of the era and the fast urbanization, the pollution to the river has become more and more severe in our country. In addition to that, most of the sanitary sewer pipes are old, the rehabilitation and the alternation are too slow that causing people unable to collect and dispose it. Therefore the sewer system has become more important. Consequently, the government commence constructing the wastewater sewer system progressively, including the rehabilitation, the alternation of the pipes and the planning of the wastewater system, etc. In Taiwan, when wastewater engineer begin to plan and design a wastewater system for a project, first of all is to probe into the amount of the wastewater, the evaluation of it influences the design, construction and even the operation of the system, besides, it is also the crucial part of the project.. Thus, it is vital to build an sound appraisal method of the amount of the wastewater.
Using the ongoing Nanzi wastewater sewer system BOT project as an example, the evaluation of the amount of the wastewater not only affect the safety and the practicability of the design, but also influence the designing cost, payment mechanism and the operation of the both pipeline system and WWTP directly. This study is to probe into the appraisal of the design flow reasonably, first, select 2 areas which have already been completely constructed with the house connection, implement 24-hour survey of the actual flow for a week and compare the surveyed readings with the theoretical estimation of the amount of the wastewater. After that, utilize the result above in the Nanzi wastewater sewer system BOT project, evaluate the amount of the wastewater and design flow. Finally, develop a reasonable and practical means to appraise the wastewater, and also check the validity of using the design parameters.
