The high tech industry in Taiwan, also faces the trade-off of global brand and local touch and the challenges of reducing global purchases cost by logistics outsourcing.
This study investigates what kinds of the postponement strategy could be applied in global logistics operation for high tech industry. And analysis the different logistics outsourcing behavior in selection element for high tech industry.
According to the results, almost the high tech industry have outsourced the logistics operation and also implemented the different, appropriate postponement strategies. At this research, the logistics service providers, based on their professional expertise, play an important role for the industry global logistics management to provide customized logistics service to meet low cost and high performance requirement of the high tech industry.
