碩士 / 國立高雄師範大學 / 工業科技教育學系 / 93 / The development of shipping enterprise is inseparable with the education and training of navigation personnel. As students are the center of school education, understanding of students' learning satisfaction will effectively reflect the achievements of formal schooling. Thus, this study used questionnaire method, taking the subject, majoring in marine engineering, from kaohsiung state-run university of marine science and technology in southern Taiwan, which in turn was used to investigate the students' learning satisfaction of present core courses of marine engineering from different backgrounds. In order to further understand the correlation of learning satisfaction among the five major core courses, description statistics, one-way ANOVA, Schaffer posterior comparison, and Pearson product-moment correlation were employed to do the analysis. The findings were as follows:
a) Subjects of this study were mainly students from five-year junior colleges, most of whose parents or relatives didn't take any jobs related to marine engineering. But because they themselves had certain understanding towards what they would become after they graduated from school, they were willing to participate in the special technique test or the skill examination training; meanwhile, they were also willing to be engaged in the marine engineering work or jobs related to them.
b) Students' learning satisfaction in the five major core courses in order from high to low was courses of merchantmen certificates, professional practice courses, professional core courses, school's required courses, and fundamental courses.
c) After students' learning satisfaction was tested by Schaffer posterior comparison, on the whole, learning satisfaction of two-year technology college students was higher than that of five-year junior college students and four-year college students. Besides, if the students held educational background of junior college of marine technology before entering this school, their learning satisfaction was higher than that of junior high school students, senior high school students, vocational high school students of marine technology, vocational high school students of non-marine technology, or junior college students of non-marine technology.
d) The learning satisfaction among the five major core courses was positively related. The correlation between professional practice courses and merchantmen certificates was the strongest, whereas that between fundamental courses and merchantmen certificates was the weakest.
