The effects of different immunostimulants on the non-specific immune response and physiological factors of white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) / 不同免疫激活物對白蝦非特異性免疫反應及生理之影響

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 水產養殖學系 / 93 / Abstract

There were three immunostimulants, β-glucan, Laminarin and Sodium alginate, have been added to diets with 0g/kg, 1g/kg and 4g/kg respectively and fed shrimps in this study. At day 0、1、2、4、8、16 and 30 after feeding, shrimps were sampled in order to examine the variance of Total haemocyte count (THC)、Phenoloxidase (PO)、Superoxide anion (O2-)、Superoxide dismutase (SOD) 、Total protein (TP)、Transglutaminase (GOT、GPT)、Cholesterol (CHOL)、Triglycerides (TG) and Glucose (GLU).
The result has indicated that the total haemocyte in haemolymph, Phenoloxidase activity in haemocyte, total protein and the transglutaminase in plasma were higher significantly (P<0.05) than theintact group at the day 1 and day 2. Furthermore, the concentrations of superoxide anion and superoxide dismutase were reached the maximum at the day 2 and day 4, however, the maximum was fund at the day 8 of 1g/kg Sodium alginate within diets. The concentrations of cholesterol and triglycerides were decreased by three kinds of immunostimulants for feeding continuously. In addition, the concentration of glucose was increased also by polysaccharides.
Consequently, all those three kinds of immunostimulants were able to
increase the immunocompetence and clotting factors of white shrimps.
Especially, the effects of immunocompetence can be found distinct more
than 1g/kg in short term. The β-glucan in three kinds of immunostimulants which form by β-1,3-1,6 was the best for increasing the immune factors.
