Thesis for Countermeasures of Sewer Construction Management regarding Propulsion Method and Pipeline Maintenance / 污水下水道推進施工管理對策與管線維護之探討

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 河海工程學系 / 93 / Sewage facilities are important public constructions for modern civilized countries, and consequently they have comprised one of the plans of the government’s “ten new constructions” in recent years. Because of this local governments have also had to concentrate on investing in the construction of such facilities. Formerly, public construction was greatly concerned with the progress and the budgeting of projects because of concerns with project quality and this made it comparatively difficult to draw up specific feasible plans. Sewage pipes are buried much more deeply than others and if the construction quality is low, repairing or relining the pipe will incur a greater cost in future, therefore construction and maintenance must be kept equally in mind.

This research focuses on the pipejacking construction method for sewage pipes, proposes solutions to project issues, and discusses the maintenance management of pipelines. It is mainly divided into two parts, one on pipejacking methods used on different rocks, the other on pipeline maintenance, inspection, appraisal and repair of sewers. The methods of repair discussed are spiral wound liner pipe rehabilitation & CIPP. The results of this research will solve the relining of the more difficult pipes and improve project quality , effectively extending the project life cycle as regards pipe maintenance so saving expense and expressing economic efficiency.
