碩士 / 國立臺灣大學 / 商學研究所 / 93 / Since Wal-Mart, in 2003, announced to use RFID(Radio Frequency Identification)techniques, RFID has become a popular issue. Our research team, in 2004, began researching and testing on RFID with Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation, one of the leading container transportation companies.
We built a RFID System Development Life Cycle model and separated it into eight stages:Feasibility Analysis, Requirements Analysis, System Analysis, System Design, System Testing, System Development, System Implementation, and Operation & Maintenance.
According to the result of preliminary testing, RFID tag has solved the problem of metal shelter and becomes a tool which can carry information of the container status.
