Near by Kuan-Ing and Ta-Tuan industrial parks in Taoyuan country,
There is a lot non-treatment of heavy metal waste from chemical plants, coating and oil refinery plants to empty the coastal ocean by Kuan-Ing His and Ta-Ku His. The Heavy metals waste deposits in the bottom sediments to influence on the ecology in the benthic environment.
There are total sixteen bottom sediments collected from the sampling sites in Kuan-Ing coastal for the study, The Sediments were analyzed for heavy metals as Al,Cd,Co,Cu,Fe,Mn,Ni,Pb,V,Zn. From The chemical analysis, it may understand that the factors control the source, amount and distribution of metals in sediments. The results may offer the suggestions to government and environmental organizations for assessment of environmental quality and, making and implement of environmental policies.
