碩士 / 樹德科技大學 / 經營管理研究所 / 93 / As a nation surrounded by ocean, the government of Taiwan has established Coast Guard Administration since February 28, 2000 to synthesize the original Coast Guard Headquarters, Coast Patrol Polices and Custom Cruise, in an effort to coordinate these relevant but separate units to catch up with the mainstream of the world. Yet such reorganization has caused great benefit loss to the employees, which led to internal resistance. This problem at hand requires instant attention. This research aims at understanding how authorities improve the cohesion between employees with different attitudes so as to promote the overall company efficiency.
This research is based on N Patrol Bureau domestically as sample to proceed with questionnaire. The result is examined by SPSS statistical software to conduct statistical analysis, reliability analysis, one-way analysis, t-test, correlation analysis, regression analysis and so forth. to understand how employees from different backgrounds react to the changing organization and how individual characteristic and leaderships influence the work performance.
The results are as follow:
1. The employees demonstrate different reactions to organization reform.
2. Different personalities result in different reactions to organization reform and have significant influence on work performance.
3. Different leaderships and work performance are interrelated and mutually affected.
4. Organization reform and work performance are interrelated and mutually affected.
Hopefully, the result of the research may provide necessary references to management and subsequent academic discussion on organization reform.
