Hydraulic engineer’s responsibility is to build hydraulic constructionon to protect the security of people and to avoid ecosystem to be destroyed. Because the connection of habitats and flowing characteristics involve how to restore original environment character in every hydraulic engineer design.
Ecological engineering design should conside aquatics’s requirement for water. The research result is a study of flow characteristic observation in fish swimming. The experiment is classified are flowing characteristic and channel. First, Experiment equipment should Set up and choose a light source, The photography uses PTV and image program.The research uses two fishes in this experiment. The purpose of experiment is the character of fish’s ability to get the result of Fish’s Reynold number and and Strouhal number.The channel experiment is to measure the change of fast-start swimming speed in static water and moving water.The flowing characteristic experiment discoveries the relations on fishes swing and optimal propulsion efficiency.
The research can find the relations on the organism ability and hydraulic engineering design and combine ecological and engineer design.
