應用數值計算模式探討槽壁效應對魚雷體流場影響之研究

碩士 / 國防大學中正理工學院 / 造船工程研究所 / 94 / Due to remarkable advances made in ocean technology the design of underwater
vehicles and weapons such as submarines, torpedoes have showed a great progress in
the recent years. The development of such strategic weapons and their operation
which could change the modern warfare condition now has constantly drawn the
attention of the Navy of the most countries. For problems related to the form design
of the advanced underwater vehicle, the study of their hydrodynamic behavior could
be always an important issue for improving the control and maneuver capability of
the vehicle itself. Traditionally, the employment of experimental water tank could be
an appropriate way to reveal the flow features around the underwater structure.
However, the interference contributed by the wall of experimental tank will always
appear due to the use of large scale model during the experiment. On the contrary, to
avoid the tank-wall effect, shrinking the model size could be a possible way to be
accepted, but it could change the flow pattern around the model and provoke the scale
effect. So far, many experimental water tanks still lack the ability to deal with
problem related to the interaction between the tank-wall and the test model. To
capture a physical understanding of important flow features embedded in the above
problem, the tank-wall and model-scale effects would be investigated through the
numerical simulation technique in this research. The research idea proposed in this
thesis could be effectively applied to facilitate the choice of proper model scale and
enhance the experimental quality during the investigation of model test.
