海軍港灣碼頭鋼板樁防蝕處理及預防之研究

碩士 / 國防大學中正理工學院 / 軍事工程研究所 / 94 / ABSTRACT

This study was motivated by the collapse of the SN 5 Navy wharf at the east coast area of the Keelung port in 2004. The objective of this study is to establish a procedure to evaluate corrosion condition and protection efficiency of steel sheet plies and to determine maintenance period for the independent checklist for Navy wharfs. By using the 1980 and 2001 steel sheet pile’s thickness inspection reports from the Institute of Transportation, the Ministry of Transportation & Communications, the corrosion rates and the cathodic protection efficiencies of sheet piles at the SN 5 and 6 wharfs of the east coast area of the Keelung port were studied. The result shows that for piles without cathodic protection the corrosion rate in 95% confidence level is 0.43mm/yr. But, for the piles with cathodic protection the corrosion rate was reduced a lot. The cathodic protection efficiency is high for the water-side and land-side flanges of piles, but is low for the web of piles. For some piles the corrosion rate was increased at the web of piles. A simple independent checklist for Navy engineers was proposed. The inspection period of thickness of steel sheet piles is five years for piles with cathodic protection, and three years for piles without cathodic protection.
