The study for export logistic operation of automobile spare parts-automobile center case study / 汽車零組件外銷物流作業模式研究-以汽車中心廠為例

碩士 / 中原大學 / 工業工程研究所 / 94 / Automobile spare parts industry is an important industry in developed countries. It has a major influence on the overall economy of the country. Due to the entry to World Trade Organization (WTO), however, Taiwan’s automobile industry is confronted with the impacts of open market economy and globalization. The protection from government has decreased and the industry must compete fairly with the other countries. The most important issue for automobile spare parts manufacturers is how to use their advantages in inovative design, manufacturing skills, design for package, boxing planning and logistics to improve the global competitiveness.
The major purpose of this research is to develop an efficient and competitive export orientated automobile spare parts model for automobile center and their suppliers in order to response to the complicated and dynamic overseas business. At the same time, the model hopes to attract the interested scholars and people in industry to focus on the related research. Finally, the model provides some contributions in automobile industry and academia by seeking to improve the global logistics of the automobile spare parts industry in Taiwan.
The problem for the optimal logistic automobile spare parts model in this reaearch is validated by case study. The model can give managerial insights to automobile industry and related industries in their manufacturing plan.
